AI Visibility Assessment: find out what AI says about your business
I check how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google’s AI features and similar tools describe and recommend businesses like yours, find out why, and give you a prioritized list of fixes with a walkthrough call.
Key takeaways
- You see what AI tools actually say about you today, with screenshots, not guesses.
- Every finding comes with a specific fix, ranked by impact and effort.
- The report is yours. Fix things yourself, with your team, or with me.
- $2,500 flat, paid by invoice, delivered within 10 business days. If the report doesn’t give you at least 10 specific, actionable fixes, I refund the fee.
Why this matters now
Some customers now ask an AI tool before they search, call or visit. “Who’s a good estate planning attorney in Honolulu?” “Which med spa near me is reputable?” The answer they get names a few businesses and skips the rest.
Those tools build their answers from what they can find and trust: your website, your Google Business Profile, directories, reviews and other sites that mention you. Google says its AI features rely on the same fundamentals as regular Search, with no special markup required. In practice that means the basics have to be right, consistent and easy to read. Most businesses have never checked. The assessment is that check, done carefully, with a clear list of what to change.
What I check
- What AI tools say about you. I run real customer questions through AI tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI features, and record who gets named, what is said, and which sources are cited.
- Whether AI crawlers can reach your site. Your robots.txt and hosting settings, and whether your pages show real text without JavaScript, checked against the crawlers AI tools document, such as OAI-SearchBot and PerplexityBot.
- Consistent business information. Your name, address, phone number, hours and services across your website, Google Business Profile and the main directories.
- Structured data. Whether your site tells search engines plainly who you are, where you are and what you offer, using schema.org markup that matches the page.
- Content that answers questions. Whether your pages answer the questions customers actually ask, in plain language, near the top.
- Reviews and outside mentions. How many credible third-party sources mention you, and whether they say the same thing your site says.
- Search basics. Indexing, sitemaps, page titles, mobile usability and obvious technical problems.
- What happens after someone finds you. Your contact path: forms that work, how fast inquiries get a reply, and where leads fall through.

What this assessment does not promise
I don’t guarantee rankings, AI mentions, traffic or revenue. AI answers change from day to day and differ from person to person, and no one outside those companies controls them.
What I do promise: if the report doesn’t give you at least 10 specific, actionable fixes, I refund the fee.
How it works
Intake
A short form: your business, website, main services, service area, and three to five questions your customers usually ask.
The checks
I run the checks above. Most use public information. Read-only access to Search Console or your Google Business Profile is optional, and you remove me afterward.
The report
Within 10 business days of your completed intake, you receive the written report and the prioritized fix list.
The walkthrough
We go through it together on a call.
Your choice
Fix things yourself, hand the list to your web person, or ask me to scope a focused AI Visibility Sprint. No obligation.
Who it’s for
The assessment fits businesses where one new client is worth real money and buyers compare options before they call: law, accounting and other professional services, med spas and wellness practices, and Hawaiʻi small businesses with lean teams.
It is not a fit if you need ongoing managed marketing with no defined end, or if you want someone to guarantee a position in an AI answer.

Frequently asked questions
What is an AI Visibility Assessment?
It is a hands-on review of how your business appears when people ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google’s AI features and similar tools for a recommendation in your category, why, and what to fix first. You get a written report, a prioritized fix list and a walkthrough call.
How much does the AI Visibility Assessment cost?
It is a flat $2,500. If the report doesn’t give you at least 10 specific, actionable fixes, I refund the fee.
How is this different from the free assessment?
The free tool is an automated score based mainly on your website. The paid assessment is done by hand: real customer questions run through several AI tools with screenshots, your listings and reviews, competitors that AI names instead of you, and a fix list ranked by impact and effort, plus a call.
How is this different from a regular SEO review?
It covers the SEO basics, because AI tools depend on them. It adds what a normal SEO review skips: what the AI tools actually say about you, which sources they cite, whether their crawlers can reach your site, and whether your business information matches everywhere.
Can you guarantee my business will show up in ChatGPT?
No, and I would be wary of anyone who does. The assessment shows what is in your control and what to fix first.
How long does the assessment take, and how do I pay?
Delivered within 10 business days of your completed intake. The $2,500 fee is paid by invoice, and it can be credited toward an AI Visibility Sprint started within 30 days of your report.
What do I need to provide?
Your website, your main services and service area, and a few questions your customers usually ask. Read-only access to Google Search Console or your Google Business Profile is optional.
Do I have to hire you to fix things?
No. The report is written so you or your web person can act on it. If you want help, an AI Visibility Sprint is typically $6,000 to $7,500 with a fixed quote, and your assessment fee can be credited toward it if you start within 30 days.
